CAPITOL NEWS
LINGAYEN – Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. called on Pangasinenses to continually strive for greater heights on the strength of the unity and sense of sharing they have shown in helping the government attain significant gains during the past eight years.
Espino and his family led the huge crowd that welcomed Year 2016 with a spectacular 15-minute fireworks and a night-long “Concert by the Gulf.”

In his message at exactly 11:53 PM on New Year’s Eve, the governor thanked all who have supported his administration during its continuous three-term tenure, reminding Pangasinenses, however, “…not to rest on their laurels, but instead renew their commitment to further work together for a more revitalized Pangasinan.”
After his speech, the governor led the New Year countdown that signaled the start of the fireworks display.
Prior to the traditional countdown, spectators were treated with the performance of the Capitol in-house band– Banda ni ATE.
A solemn New Year mass officiated by Fr. Francis Posadas was also held at 7 PM at the Capitol grounds. /RRB
