CALASIAO—A policeman died in a vehicular accident while his two passengers were hurt when the car he was driving bumped a Hi-Ace van and a motorcycle parked at road shoulder along Barangay Buenlag this town around 12:45 a.m. of Dec. 31.

Dead was PO1 James Bryan Cayago, field training officer from Malasiqui town who was assigned to Region 3.

Cayago came from a party and was driving his Mitsubishi Lancer joined by couple Jomel and Susana Tamayo of Barangay Ano, San Carlos City going to this town for another merry-making when the accident happened.

The victim was declared dead on arrival by his attending physician at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in San Carlos City while the Tamayo couple suffered minor injuries. (Tita Roces)
