A fun night with tricycle drivers and operators
COJUANGCO UPDATES
IT was pure fun for the tricycle drivers and operators and their families who trooped to the Villasis Auditorium for the celebration of the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) Night.
The event held on Jan. 20, with galore of prizes and surprises, was part of the town’s annual fiesta celebration.
There was a roar of excitement when the team of re-electionists Fifth District Rep. Kimi Cojuangco and Board Member Clemente “Niῆo” Arboleda Jr. with board member aspirant Chinky Perez arrived to assist Manila Vice Mayor “Isko” Moreno, Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo, both senatorial aspirants in the May 9 elections who came to join the celebration.
They were joined by Engr. Rosendo So, founding chairman of Abono party-list and a known philanthropist and avid political supporter of Cojuangco’s team.
Municipal officials led by Mayor Dita Abrenica, with her husband, former mayor Nato Abrenica, were on hand to give a rousing welcome to Cojuangco’s entourage.
Cojuangco surprised the tricycle drivers and operators by entering the auditorium on board the brand new tricycle, the grand prize for the event.
There were other handsome prizes given away, aside from entertainment numbers that perked up their evening during the event.
Before the night ended, the tricycle drivers and operators thanked Cojuangco and her group profusely for their generous support to their welfare.
