Christmas Message 2015

“Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” – Luke 2:14

The most glorious event in the life of the Filipino is Christmas. It is a season when the love of God and the love of our fellow men should prevail. On Christmas Day, we celebrate, as we receive by faith, God’s greatest gift: His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ. He is the true reason why we celebrate Christmas.

As we celebrate the love of God for us, let us never forget that the greatest gifts are not those that come in colorful wrappers, nor the food prepared on the table, not even the carols we hear and sing-along-with. The way to celebrate Christmas is by being with our loved ones, our family and our friends, by helping the needy who each day represent Christ, the light of the world.

As we reminisce the meaning of Christmas, let us also thank each other for being such a wonderful gift and for being a powerful light of hope for the world. May the wondrous joy of Christmas reign in our hearts!

We wish you the precious gift of faith, the grace of hope and serenity of love today and everyday.

The Lord is with us and may He continue to bless us. Merry Christmas to all!
