City Hall employees receive their performance bonus

THE 586 regular and qualified city hall employees received their Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI) equivalent to one month salary or 14th month pay on December 21.
The outlay for the PEI in the amount of P10.8 million was drawn from the P29,920,600 supplemental budget No. 2 approved last December 24 during the regular session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP).
The total amount came from the city’s savings from various offices, regular offices, non-offices and on various implemented infrastructure projects funded under the 20 percent Developmental Fund for 2015.
Mayor Belen T. Fernandez ordered the release of the PEI upon the completion of the PEI evaluation of the regular and qualified employees.
Fernandez called on the employees to bring their bonuses to their families so they can enjoy the blessings of Christmas.
In addition to the PEI, city hall employees received a gift pack each from Mayor Fernandez for their Noche Buena.
The job order employees also received gift packs when they were paid their respective wages. (CIO/Joseph C. Bacani)
