Alaminos City’s solid waste plan Ok’d
ALAMINOS CITY— This city has obtained the approval of the National Solid Waste Management Commission (NSWMC) last week for its Solid Waste Management (SWM) plan for year 2015 to 2025.
Section 10 of the RA9003 requires provinces, cities, and municipalities through their local SWM Boards, to prepare their respective 10-year SWMP consisted with the NSWM framework.
“After thorough review and evaluation by the NSWMC Secretariat, the NSWMC technical working group, on its November 5, 2015 meeting, has agreed to endorse for approval by the NSWMC, the 10-year SWM Plan (2015-2015) of Alaminos City, Province of Pangasinan,” stated the resolution signed by the NSWMC vice chairman and representative of the Recycling Industry, Crispian Lao.
