Two prov’l hospitals get new facilities

LINGAYEN— Two public hospitals in the province are set to receive additional medical equipment. 

Last week, the provincial board approved provincial resolution no. 1699-2015 authorizing the Governor Amado Espino Jr. to enter into and sign memoranda of agreement (MOA) with HIMEX Corporation and United Diagnostic Supply (UDS) for the provision of hospital facilities and equipment under public-private partnering scheme for the provincial government hospitals of Pangasinan.

HIMEX Corp. offered the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital the services of one Hitachi ultrasound machine model: AVIUS for general ultrasound with elastography application (4 PROBES) while UDS will provide the Umingan Community Hospital with one unit chemistry analyzer.

Both hospitals were also offered the one unit Hitachi ultrasound machine model and one unit STATFAX 1904 PLUS chemistry analyzer each. (Johanne Macob)
