Rep. Kimi braves Lando’s wrath, inspects projects

COJUANGCO UPDATES

WHILE Typhoon Lando wreaked havoc on October 19, 2015, Pangasinan Fifth District Rep. Kimi Cojuangco, inspected the dike at Tagamusing River in Barangay Mangcasuy, Binalonan town.

Unmindful of the dangers posed by the strong winds and heavy rains being dumped by the typhoon, Cojuangco, wife of former Congressman Mark Cojuangco, personally assessed the strength and solidity of the dike that was funded through her initiative.

The dike stood firm and protected the residents from the flooding that had continuously damaged the community’s homes and properties for decades every time a typhoon hit them.

With the fortification of the dike, the confidence of residents has been renewed and the hope of a new dawn is invigorated.

Congresswoman Cojuangco said she is determined to complete the projects she initiated as Fifth District Representative.

Her constituents have seen her as unwavering in her efforts to secure the necessary funding for the projects badly needed by her constituents.  Together with her husband, who is her consultant and technical assistant, they ensure that projects are completed according to required specifications so that they would endure and serve their purpose.

Accompanying her during her inspection of the dike were Board Member Clemente Arboleda and Chinky Perez.
