Motorcycle riding couple, teenager die in collision
SAN CARLOS CITY—A couple and a teenager died while two others were injured in a collision of two motorcycles dawn Wednesday along Barangay Taloy here.
P/Superintendent Charlie Umayam, city police chief, identified the victims as Christian Mark Soriano, 17, college student, driver of Honda Wave 125 motorcycle, resident of Barangay Meztiso here, and couple Onofre Palisoc, 46, an electrician who was driving a Rusi motorcycle and his wife Jennifer Palisoc, 41, residents of Barangay Ilang this city. Jennifer was the back rider during the accident.
Soriano’s back riders named Jayson Peralta, 20 and Johnrey Malabanan, 15, both residents of Barangay Meztiso were rushed to Virgen Milagrosa Medical Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Both drivers were not wearing helmets and had no driver’s license when the accident occurred.—(Tita Roces)
