BINALONAN—Joint police elements arrested on Sept. 3 in Barangay Moreno this town the suspected gunman in the killing of a retired policeman here last month.

Arrested was Basilio Baybayan based on warrant of arrest for another homicide case in Camarines Norte.

The warrant was served by joint detectives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (Regions 1, 5 and Pangasinan), Binalonan Municipal Police Station and Provincial Intelligence Branch of Pangasinan Police Office.

Baybayan was also the suspect in the murder of retired Senior Police Officer 1 Victorino Baybayan on Aug. 14 here.

The two Baybayans were cousins. (Tita Roces)
