URDANETA CITY—The Revenue District Office 6 (RDO6) here received an excellent rating award from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) regional office during the 115th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary held in Hotel Ariana Bauang La Union last September 17.

RDO6 was among the agencies that garnered “excellent rating” in the Anti- Red Tape Act Report Card Survey conducted last year, for its exemplary performance in the delivery of its front line services.

Atty. Nasrollah Conding, chief of RDO6 said this is the first time the district office earned an excellent rating from its clients, the taxpayers.

Its collection also increased by 30% , from an annual collection of Php800 million to over one billion pesos in 2013 and 2014.

“We are proud that RDO6 became part of the billionaires’ club districts”, said Conding.

He said the other notable accomplishment of the district is the return of the authority to sign or certify transactions such as real property transfer.

“Before, it took six months before real property transfer transactions because the signatory or the certification comes from the central office or the commissioner herself but later the authority to sign was returned to RDO6 thus the transaction days were minimized to a week”, said Conding.

He added RDO6 piloted the electronic certificate clearance which was later adapted by other district offices. (Hilda Austria)
