LTO Dagupan now operates with new license printer
THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) district office in Dagupan City and Lingayen have began printing new designs of licenses and permits last week.
District chief Richard Agbayani said 1,500 cards arrived in Dagupan office but will wait for more because there is over 11,000 backlog of licenses since May.
Last month, the LTO unveiled new plastic cards featuring new color-coded classifications for drivers and conductors: Professional and non-professional drivers will get the current blue cards while conductors will be issued yellow cards;
student applicants will be issued orange cards that will serve as the new student permits. (Johanne Macob)
