MALASIQUI—Some 63 members of the Malasiqui Police Station (MPS) underwent
enhanced shooting proficiency training on August 29 and 30 to boost their
capabilities in neutralizing criminals.

Supt. Armando Muena, chief of MPS said the shooting proficiency will be a monthly activity for their station to help them effectively maintain peace and order in the town.

Recently, MPS was awarded “Best Unit with Past and Continuing Notable
Accomplishment Beyond Rating Period Municipal Level” in region one during the
recent 114th Police Service Anniversary and the municipal government rewarded
them with an ammunition-reloading machine.

“The ammo reloading machine is very useful in our shooting proficiency training”,
said Muena.

He stressed the importance of the proficiency training as an additional to the basic
trainings given to them prior and within their service.

“We need to upgrade our skills to be more efficient in our job”, said Muena.
Meanwhile, Mayor Armando Domantay Sr. supports the training of the MPS.

He commended the policemen for maintaining peace and order that resulted in
more investors in the town including a new Savemore grocery and shopping store to be built in a 3, 000 square meters lot here. (Hilda Austria)
