Dagupan budget officer is PICPA chapter prexy
CITY Budget Officer Luz De Guzman recently took her oath as new president of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA)-Pangasinan Chapter.
De Guzman, who was inducted in to office by PICPA National President Dominador A. Barrion, succeeds outgoing PICPA Chapter president Judge Trinidad Abad-Perez.
The guest of honor and speaker during the induction program was Commissioner Jose Fabia of the Commission on Audit, a lawyer and former mayor of Binmaley as well as director of the Philippine Information Agency.
The other officers are: Lelia Chua-Sy, president-elect; Teofila S. Albay, VP for professional development; Ma. Lourdes G Aque, VP for operations; Renante D. Balocating, VP for membership; Janice D. Espanol, secretary; Edward P. Molano, assistant secretary; Eva M. Daroy, treasurer; Catherine M. Alagadan, assistant treasurer; Marlene P. Tandoc, auditor; Jaime S. Cruz Jr, auditor; Ma. Corazon B. Puzon and Ronnie R. Bandonil, P.R.O.; Julie T. Racho, sectoral director, commerce and industry; Antonio S. Royeca, sectoral director, government; Ma. Rita D. Garcia, sectoral director, education; Nathalie I. Tan, sectoral director, public practice; and Judge Trinidad A. Ferrer as ex-officio. (CIO)
