Alaminos City gears up for K to 12’s SHS program

ALAMINOS CITY– The schools division of Alaminos City further geared up for its implementation of the K to 12’s senior high school (SHS), through an education summit held last July 28 held at the Alaminos City Multi-Purpose Hall.

The Department of Education (DepEd) and stakeholders signed a pledge of commitment to the K to 12 program led by Alaminos City Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Danilo Sison, highlighted the summit.

Sison said the activity was aimed at providing information about the full implementation of the K to 12 Program in 2016 to ensure its success.

Education supervisors, Dr. Cecilia Nisperos and Dr. Bella Villanos discussed the SHS and Voucher Program of the K to 12 Program, respectively.

Alaminos City Mayor Arthur Celeste graced the event and assured the city’s continued support for all the undertakings of the DepEd Alaminos City Division. (Johanne Macob)
