Six Upang-Phinma students top NLE 2015
SIX of the top ten passers in the recent Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) were students of the University of Pangasinan-Phinma.
The results released by the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) identified the topnotchers from the UPang-PHINMA as Alexis John Solomon Castro (85%) No.5, while Camille Agustin Billote and Jean Soriano Laluan (both 84.40%) were No.8.
Kate Lowin Cardona, Alben Fernandez and Sarah Estrada, (with their 84.20%) were No.9.
The College of Nursing of the UPang-PHINMA admitted that the ranking of the six students in the top ten is a record breaker in the university’s history.
PRC said from the 17, 891 examinees last May 30 and 31, only 9, 707 passed.
Benedict Rey Montas Serrano of the Bicol University-Legazpi topped the NLE with 86.40% average.
The six UPang-PHINMA board top passers visited the Our Lady of Manaoag Shrine Basilica Minore in Manaoag a day after the NLE results were released. (Hilda Austria)
