MUTUAL ADMIRATION – After her speaking engagement at the University of Pangasinan on June 26, Camarines Sur 3rdDistrict Representative Leni Robredo, wife of the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo made a surprise call on Mayor Belen T. Fernandez to personally learn more about the transformation of Dagupan which she described as “one of the few LGUs in the country practicing good governance and transparency ” just like the legacy left by her husband. Mayor Fernandez said the late DILG Secretary was her idol in public service and good governance and expressed the hope that what he had started in government will live on in the hearts of local government officials.
