URDANETA CITY— Revenue District Office 6 (RDO6) reported a collection of PhP395, 299, 155, the highest in the province, and second highest in Region 1, surpassing its collection last year over the same period (January-April) by 14.86%.

Lawyer Nasrollah Conding, RDO6 district officer, said the increase in their collection is credited to the efforts of the district’s personnel, particularly the examiners, three of whom reached their goal collection.

Among the factors that made record collection possible was the increase in the one-time transactions, value added tax (VAT) collections and results of investigations.

“We will continue with our intensive campaign and tax mapping with the help of our regional examiners, considering that we are limited in the number of examiners to monitor all the business establishments in our area”, said Conding. (Hilda Austria)
