LINGAYEN – The Pangasinan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) remains on high alert for the security of beachgoers in the province.

PDRRMC is implementing a “6 p.m. no swimming policy” at the Lingayen Beach. It also advised local government units to continue monitoring and guarding the seas and river banks in their areas to avoid untoward incidents among swimmers and revellers.

Avenix Arenas, PDRRMC spokesperson, said the water search and rescue team, police, Bureau of Fire and the Provincial Health Office are ready to respond to any emergency. (PIA-1/Pangasinan)
