URDANETA CITY–The assistant manager of the Pangasinan Electric Cooperative III was shot and wounded by two hitmen riding in tandem on a motorcycle early evening last Monday while waiting for a ride home along Mac Arthur Highway, Barangay Nancayasan here.

P/Superintendent Jeff Fanged, city police chief, said the victim, Celso Sansano, 56, single and resident of Zone 4, Corrales St., Rosales town, Pangasinan was shot thrice and was rushed to the Urdaneta District Hospital. His condition is now stable.

Investigation showed Sansano was waiting for a ride bound for Rosales when he was shot three times by two armed men riding on a TMX Honda motorcycle colored red without a plate number with one bullet hitting him in his waist.

Fanged said they have yet to establish the motive for the shooting but it could be work-related based on their initial investigation.
