Last 11 remaining illegal fish pens dismantled by June – CAO

THE dismantling of all remaining illegal fish pens in Dagupan City will be completed by June 30.

This was gleaned from the list released by the City Agriculture Office (CAO).

Only 11 structures are left for dismantling between this month till 2015.

Three of these fish pens are already set for dismantling on May 15, four on May 30 and the rest in June 2015.

To be dismantled on May 15 are those owned by Romulo Gonzales of Calmay, Ariel Rosario, also of Calmay, Rudy Corpuz of Calmay, and two units of fish pens owned by Milan de Guzman of Tocok, Carael;

Those to be demolished on May 30 are fish pens owned by Marcos Gonzales and Amado Angeles, both of Calmay; and those up for dismantling in June are those owned by Lorna Losala of Calmay, Zandy Estac and Romy Bautuista (no address).

The CAO also released the names of owners whose fish pens have been demolished since February this year, namely: Ador Bancod of Pugaro, 100 square meters on February 9; Allan Parayno of Salapingao, 140 square meters, on February 10;  Allan Ballesterosof Lasip Grande, 230 square meters on February 11, Ferdinand Soy of Tanap-Calamiong, 550 square meters; Simeon Hortaleza of Tanap-Calamiong, 350 square meters, both of March 26.

The last fish pens demolished on April 21, 2015 were those owned by Fernando Honrada of Talaib Carael, 9,000 square meters; and Lorenzo Gallardo (caretaker) of Talaib-Carael, 3,000 square meters. (Leonardo Micua)
