952 boys get free circumcision from UST Medical Mission
IT’S summertime and 952 boys of school age readily submitted themselves for circumcision during the three-day medical mission conducted by the UST Medical Mission Incorporated (UST MMI) in coordination with the Alagang Balon Dagupan program at West Central I Elementary School on May 15, 16 and 17.
In addition, 152 patients also underwent major surgical operations especially those suffering ob-gyne problems, myoma, breast mass, goiter and inguinal hernia, while 157 patients were subjected to minor surgical operations for those with cyst, moles and superficial benign tumor.
The patients were also provided with free medicines. It was the second year that the UST MMI conducted its medical mission here through the initiative of Mayor Fernandez. (CIO)
