AGUILAR – Communities in the town of Aguilar are the latest recipients of the anti-poverty assistance program established by the Department of Science and Technology  (DOST) in partnership with the province’s  state university and Aguilar LGU.

Five communities of Aguilar were identified for the program that include Barangays Laoag, San Jose, Panacol and Bocboc West and Sitio Mapita.

Pangasinan State University president Dexter Buted said the school will provide the  technical support  needed for the program which is also in line with the University’s goal of  alleviating poverty in the province.

Buted said PSU is committing its resources to be able to magnify the impact of the program to the beneficiaries  and to meet the desired goals of helping the communities. (PIA-Pangasinan)
