THEY CAME TO PRAY — The front pew inside churches during special occasions is somehow always reserved for VIPs, and the proclamation of the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag as Minor Basilica was no exception. Occupying the front pew are Former Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr., Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr., Mrs. Priscilla Espino, former Rep. Mark Cojuangco, Rep. Kimi Cojuangco, Rep. Gina de Venecia, presidential sisters Balsy and Viel Aquino and Dagupan Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, each with his and her prayer petition perhaps for a miracle in 2016.
