LCP REPRESENTATIVES HAIL ISLAND TOURS -“It was a breathtaking experience,” exclaim Genelyn Gabriel (2^nd fr. left) and Ma. Veronica Hitosis (3^rd fr. left), both from the  League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP)  when they joined the Island Tours with Mayor Belen T. Fernandez while in the city last February 11 for a meeting on the implementation of the senior high school program. After the meeting, the LCP project assistant and policy and legislation unit head took off their shoes to have their souvenir photos taken in the sand bars located between the island barangays of Pugaro and Salapingao. The Island Tours will be formally launched soon after the city government secures the permits for the three flatboats from the  Maritime Industry Authority. (CIO photo by Mitz Cresencio)
