GOODWILL BASKETBALL GAMES

THE much-awaited encounter between two Pangasinan university giants in the field of basketball, the UCAAP champions Lyceum Northwestern University Dukes and PRISAA champions University of Luzon Golden Tigers, will definitely happen on January 28 at Dagupan People’s Astrodome at 3:00 p.m.

Originally set on January 15, the goodwill games will be carded by the encounter of former titlists University of Pangasinan-PHINMA Flames and PAMMA Seafarers at 1:30 p.m.

“We rescheduled the event because of the exam of the students involved in the games,” said Angel Gumarang, the event spokesman and co-organizer with Renato Vidal.

“The objective of the match is unification, entertainment, camaraderie among basketball college schools and also to weigh if who’s really who in Pangasinan caging,” added Gumarang, Pangasinan’s new provincial sports consultant. JAG, Jr.
