3 men charged for rape
SAN FABIAN—Three men, one of whom is the boyfriend of the victim’s sister, are facing rape charges filed by the police at the Prosecutor’s Office for allegedly sexually abusing the victim on January 2.
P/Superintendent Ferdinand de Asis, chief of the Police Community Relations at the police provincial office, said charged were Danilo Imbisan, 22, Bernard Mayugba, 22,and Richard Mati, 27, all residents of Barangay Aramal this town.
The victim, 21, single, a saleslady whose name was withheld, was raped by the three who had taken advantage of her inebriated state while inside the house of Mati, her elder sister’s boyfriend.
The victim’s sister was with her and also drunk, but did not complain of being raped.
Imbisan and Mati were arrested after a hot pursuit police operation while Mayugba remains at large.—Tita Roces
