SECRETARY Joel Villanueva of the Technology and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recently announced that P100-M in scholarships, out of P300-M in Region 1, has been allotted to Pangasinan.

He urged college graduates who remain unemployed to enroll in technical and vocational courses to improve their chances of gaining a livelihood or employment.

“Vocational courses can be used as a stepping stone in achieving your desired profession as this has no age requirement and not institution based. You can work with your skills and earn to finish your college”, Villanueva said.

He said TESDA will continue its Special Training for Employment (STEP), providing P60 allowance and a starter kit after the completion of the training.
