Judge’s inhibition in MC Adore case sought

THE counsel of AMB ALC has filed a Motion to Inhibit (with motion to defer the conduct of the proceedings and resolutions of other incidents) before Branch 42 of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) which earlier denied the former’s Motion to Dismiss in a civil case in connection with the controversial sale of the former MC Adore Hotel.

Sought to inhibit from the civil case filed by Leo Angeles as plaintiff with the City Government of Dagupan as among the defendants is RTC Judge A. Florentino Dumlao who denied the Motion to Dismiss filed by AMB ALC in his Resolution dated 22 October 2013.

The other defendants are former Dagupan Mayor Benjamin Lim, former Budget Officer Virgil Tangco, Eduardo Magno, Ricardo Victoria, Leila Chua-Sy and Mayor Belen Fernandez, Councilors Jesus Canto and Alvin Coquia, City Treasurer Romelita Alcantara and City Accountant Teresita Manaois.

The motion submitted to the court by Joselito Lomangaya was due for hearing last Dec. 5.
