In his message, Cojuangco lauded bankers for their distinct role in society by making economic development possible.
He remembered his high school teacher in Commerce, Australia who taught him that capital is the produced means of production.
Cojuangco emphasized that capital is not only money. “But more than the money is the desire, the will to innovate, to undertake an enterprise to produce,” he said.
He said government can come in for help and bankers can provide access for this capital for a fee.
In order for people to invest, environment must be good, Cojuangco said.
He said Pangasinan has great potentials for investments.
Bankers can play huge role in Pangasinan’s future success, he added.
