FROM an early-mid 20th century Ford model, the Beetle that defined the ’60s, to the latest popular Toyota sedan, car enthusiasts in the region were given a visual history of the automotive industry in a motor show held at the Dagupan City plaza.

Organized by the Pangasinan-based North Star Vintage Motor Club, the event brought together car lovers from all over the province who consider collecting and restoring cars as a hobby and passion.

Bert Jimenez, club president, said that the yearly motor show is an avenue to promote car collection as a hobby to the public. Meanwhile, Fernandez said she plans to bring back the motor show in next year’s Bangus Festival. (CIO)
