PSU instructor wounded in gun attack

LINGAYEN-—An instructor of the Pangasinan State University – Lingayen Campus was wounded when two male suspects riding in tandem on a motorcycle shot him Wednesday night while traversing Salvacion Road, Barangay Maniboc, riding his own motorcycle.

The victim, Sylvestre Victorio, 24, single, from Pozorrubio, was on his way home at around 7:20 p.m. when the suspects trailed him and shot him from behind.

Victorio was hit in his left forearm and left thigh by a still unknown type of handgun.

He was rushed by his back-rider and fellow instructor Potenciano Contie to Jesus Nazarene General Hospital this town.

Motive for the incident is still unknown as of press time. (Tita R. Roces)
