Pangasinan PESO cited as nation’s best
LINGAYEN– The Pangasinan Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO) has been adjudged anew as the 2013 National Best PESO Award in the 1st class provincial category.
The award was received by PESO chief Alex Ferrer during the recently concluded 14th National PESO Congress with the theme, “PESO for the ASEAN Integration, 2015 and beyond,” held last October 22-24 in General Santos City.
The award cited the efficiency, capability, and better quality of work of the office in terms of facilitating employment of job seekers; serving as a labor market information; job referral and placement, and manpower pooling; providing recruitment schedules; and other programs benefitting the people especially local and overseas Filipino workers.

Last Monday (Oct. 27), the provincial board commended the PESO for its recent feat through provincial resolution no. 889-2014.
“The award earned by PESO will serve as an inspiration and worthy example for all offices and employees of the provincial government to strive excellence in the performance of their respective work,” the resolution authored by board member Alfonso Bince Jr. read. (PIO)
