Tree Planting Program: Healing the forests, enjoying its benefits

Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. and Department of Energy – Electric Power Industry Management Bureau Director Mylene Capongcol lead the massive distribution of some 110,000 forest, fruit-bearing and mangrove seedlings to different barangay councils, public schools and non-government organizations from the first to the sixth districts of Pangasinan last September 29 at the provincial nursery in Sta. Barbara. The activity aims to heal and regenerate the forest and provide the present and next generations with the benefits the trees had to offer. Joining the distribution of seedlings are: Board Member Danilo Uy, Provincial Agriculturist Officer-in-Charge Dalisay Moya and representatives of the San Roque Power Corporation and Team Energy Corporation. /MVS-VFS
