Philippine delegation to 41st SSEAJYP visits Pangasinan

LINGAYEN– The country’s 28 young cultural ambassadors, who assumed the name Dayaw Kalinaw, joining the 41stShip for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAJYP) on October 29 visited Pangasinan last week for a briefing on the province’s culture and tourist destinations.

The SSEAYP, a 52-day annual cultural exchange program established in 1974 that aims to promote mutual understanding and friendship among young participants from Japan and Southeast Asian countries, will bring the group to Japan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia and Myanmar.

During their sea travel, the delegates will hold cultural presentations and will be posted for home stay program,” said Edwin Antonio, a native of Bautista town and the leader of the Dayaw Kalinaw.
