Pangasinense will represent PH in Miss Global Tourism pageant
Lingayen- – -Twenty year-old Michelle Alegre of Bautista town, daughter of a security guard at the Capitol, will represent the country in the Miss Global Tourism tilt Toronto, Canada on December 1, 2014.
In a courtesy call on Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. the beauty queen, who was adjudged 2nd runner up in the Queen of the Philippines pageant held last August 1, told the governor, “Being a Pangasinense, I am proud to represent the Philippines and I will do my best to bring home the crown.”
In congratulating Alegre, the governor said the province is proud of her achievement.
Alegre, a graduate of B.S. International Travel and Tourism Management at Lyceum of the Philippines in Manila who has several other beauty titles to her name before bagging the title, is a distant relative of the governor. (PIO//RRB)
