LINGAYEN– Pangasinan will soon establish a partnership with the province of Oriental Mindoro in areas of trade and investments, tourism, arts, culture, education, agriculture, environment, disaster preparedness and health care.

The provincial board in its August 18-regular session authorized the provincial government through Gov. Amado Espino Jr.  to sign a twinning agreement with Gov. Alfonso Umali Jr. for the establishment of a sisterhood relationship between the two respective provinces. “The twinning agreement is necessary to set up the understanding of the parties with reference to the sisterhood relationship,” said SP member Sheila Marie Perez-Galicia as she sponsored provincial resolution no. 735-2014.
