ANOTHER job fair was organized by the Dagupan City government at the City Museum last week for Dagupeños seeking gainful employment.

This was in addition to the special recruitment activity being held daily at the Public Employment and Service Office (PESO).

Mayor Belen Fernandez acknowledged the support of the private companies and agencies who expressed willingness to employ qualified city residents both local and overseas jobs. She said the conduct of job fairs will be a regular undertaking of the city government in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Philippine Overseas and Employment Administration (POEA) and other local and overseas-based companies.

Among the job vacancies offered that day included positions for nurses, doctors, skilled workers factory workers, information technology workers, office administrators, office managers, clerks, engineers, pharmacy technicians and nursing assistants.

Peso Manager Joy Siapno said another job fair is set in Dagupan in October or November.  Last week’s job fair was the third conducted by the city’s PESO. (CIO/ Leziel C. Aquino)
