Lingayen – The Accreditation Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) has lauded the provincial government led by Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. for its active participation and all-out support to the accreditation of various curricular offerings in the Pangasinan State University (PSU).

The expression of appreciation for the present provincial administration was conveyed by Prof. Randolf Warren Gregorio T. Mayo II, Over-all Coordinator of AACCUP team during a courtesy call to the Governor on August 26 at the Urduja House.

“Never did a local government unit participate in an accreditation but the participation of the province of Pangasinan in accreditation manifests support to the lone state-run university in Pangasinan,” Mayo said.

Mayo, a professor at Central Luzon State University, was joined by 21 experts from State Colleges and Universities (SUCs) in the country. The accrediting team will be in PSU from August 26-30 for accreditation survey of eight curricular offerings in Lingayen, Infanta and Urdaneta campuses of PSU.  (PIO/MGNO)
