Rosario is new asst. prov’l health officer
LINGAYEN, Pangasinan—Former fourth district board member Jeremy “Ming” Rosario has formally assumed his new position as the assistant provincial health officer for hospital management on Monday.
Rosario, a doctor by profession specializing in anesthesiology, served as board member of the sixth and seventh Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
He said that serving in the provincial health office (PHO) allows him to continue his public service as a doctor.
Rosario, who lost in his bid to be mayor of Manaoag, finally became eligible for an appointment to a governemnt post this month.
The assistant provincial health officer is a permanent status position. Rosario’s employment started on July 01.
Rosario will be second-in-command to Dr. Ana Theresa De Guzman, the provincial health officer of Pangasinan. –(Hilda M. Austria)
