PESO intensifies recruitment this month

FOR OVERSEAS, LOCAL EMPLOYMENT

This was what the Espino administration promised more than a hundred of applicants for overseas jobs after qualifying for final interview for job placements in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

To support the hopeful Pangasinenses, the provincial government provided one of its buses to ferry the selected applicants to Manila for their final interview on July 16.

The jobs fair arranged by the Provincial Employment Services Office (PESO) in collaboration with the RRJM Recruitment Agency selected 110 applicants for final interview in Manila.

The male applicants who will pass the interview will be employed as airline general workers.

Meanwhile, PESO Manager Alex Ferrer said eight recruitment activities for local and overseas employment have been set this month.

The First Magellan Overseas Corporation has set manpower pooling sessions on July 15 and 16 while EPSON Precision Phils. Inc. recruited women to work in Lipa, Batangas while the Skills Development Center recruited for Subic, Zambales.

The ABC Manpower Agency, Inc. processed applications for domestic helpers for Hong Kong and Singapore, call center agents, bartenders, bussers, cook, dishwashers, food servers, supervisors and managers to work in United Arab Emirates, architect draftsman for Saudi Arabia, cook, host/hostess and food servers for Kuwait and electrician, cable jointer and plumber for Qatar.

For deployment to Japan, the UNO Overseas Placement, Inc. is will recruit farmers, dairy workers, welders, furniture worker, chicken deboner, female hi-speed sewer and male spray painters, metal electro-platers, mason, carpenters, sheet metal workers, and press machine operator on July 22.

There will also be a recruitment for male and female operators to work for 3 Cs Company in Pampanga, and call center agents for SYNERGY to work in Binmaley.

On the 23rd, Concorde Int’l Human Resource Corp. will recruit fitters, welders, pump operators, instrument technicians, tapper sampler, control room operators, stoker operator, auto mechanic, machinist, electricians, hydraulic technicians, furnace leader and crane operator for Malaysia.

Eyequest International Manpower Services will process applications as factory workers for Taiwan on July 25.

Those seeking local employment should visit the PESO on July 25 and on July 29 for job openings as call center agents at NCCI for its Lingayen branch.

For tis efforts, PESO under the Espino administration was recently cited as the National Most Outstanding PESO in the PESO-First Class Province in 2013 having arranged the employment of some 9, 000 Pangasinenses locally and overseas. (Johanne R. Macob)
