ORDER

This is a verified Amended Petition, filed by Jeremias E. Canlas, through counsel, praying that, after due notice, publication and hearing, judgment be issued directing the respondent Local Civil Registrar of Dagupan City to correct the entry in the Certificates of Live Birth of KRISTINE MARIE BERNARDO CANLAS, JERIME NICOLE CANLAS AND LEWIS ALBERT BERNARDO CANLAS, particularly the date and place of marriage of parents, from “August 15, 2001, Saudi Arabia” to ‘NOT MARRIED”.

Finding the Petition to be sufficient in form and substance, set the same to initial hearing on August 28, 2014 at 8:30 o’clock in the morning, which date, time and place, the Petitioner shall appear and prove his Petition, and that all other persons having or claiming any interest thereon shall appear and show cause, if any, why the Petition shall not be granted.

Let this Order be published at the expense of the Petitioner once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the province of Pangasinan, including the cities of Dagupan, San Carlos, Urdaneta and Alaminos which shall be selected on the basis of raffle.

Let copies of this Order be furnished to the Petitioner and his counsel, and together with copies of the Petition, the Local Civil Registrar of Dagupan City, Respondent Melissa S. Bernardo and the Solicitor General, who are given fifteen (15) days from notice of the Petition or from the last date of publication of such notice within which to file their Comment and/or Opposition thereto, if any.
