RED ORCHID HALL OF FAMER—-THE Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City has been inducted into the Red Orchid Hall of Fame after winning the Red Orchid Award for three consecutive years as a “Smoke-Free Government Hospital” based on the Department of Health’s criteria for 100% tobacco-free environment and the World Health Organization’s “MPOWER” Framework. The award was received for R1MC by Atty. Manuel Aoanan, Drs. Myrna Mendoza and Jocelyn Angeles. DOH officials led by Usec Eric Tayag, Gerardo Bayugo and Dr. Myrna Cabotaje of Regional Office No. 1 presented the award.
