“WE will do our very best and God will do the rest”.

Thus said Connie Pama, chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council Chairman of St. Michael the Archangel Parish after a holy mass on Caranglaan-Tebeng road Sunday afternoon that officially kicked off the construction of the newest parish church in Dagupan City.

Mayor Belen Fernandez led the lowering of the time capsule in the north-east side of the lot, symbolic of the start of the construction of the project after a blessing officiated by Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas.

The lot was donated to the archdiocese by Aurora Melendez.

In his homily, Villegas reminded everyone that no church in the city is better than the others, pointing out that “the grandest and most beautiful church is found within ourselves”. (CIO/FdV)
