Gov. Espino celebrates his birthday at PPH

Lingayen—Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. celebrated his 66th birthday, June 20, with some 416 in-patients of the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital (PPH) in San Carlos City when he visited the hospital starting from the dialysis center to geriatrics (male and female), recovery and pediatrics wards.

“I always spend my birthday here at PPH,” Gov. Espino said as he disclosed that sick and poor Pangasinenses have soft spot in his heart thus his administration has placed health program a top priority.

Proof of his love for the poor and sick Pangasinenses is the massive enhancement of medical program through rehabilitation and upgrading of all government hospitals in Pangasinan.

Governor Espino also inspected the site where the construction of a two-story building to house the state-of-the-art emergency and operating rooms will start soon on a 720 square meter lot at the PPH compound.

He said that with many patients patronizing the PPH, the current emergency and operating rooms cannot accommodate patients from all walks of life.

“Ground floor of the new building will serve as emergency and operating rooms only while diagnostic equipment will be placed on the second floor,” Gov. Espino said.

Gov. Espino disclosed that all 14 provincial government-owned hospitals become the hospital of choice among Pangasinenses with improved and quality health service that will benefit the poor and sick people in the province.  (By Ruby R. Bernardino)
