FORMER Dagupan City Councilor Ricardo Edades Donato, who also served as sports commissioner during the administration of the late Mayor Cipriano M. Manaois, passed away on June 12, 2014 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, USA.

Donato, who was better known as “Papa Do”, served as councilor during the term of Mayor Liberal Reyna Sr.

After his short stint as city councilor, he migrated with his family to the USA.

He was a first cousin of another late councilor, Alfredo D. Sta. Maria Sr.
