LINGAYEN – The More Than Conquerors Breakfast Club (MTCBC), a Christian organization, recently donated medical equipment to the Provincial Health Office during brief ceremonies at the Capitol Plaza — after the regular flag-raising ceremony of the provincial government.

Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr., assisted by Provincial Administrator Rafael Howard Baraan and Provincial Health Officer Anna Teresa de Guzman received the donation from the MTCBC president Ashok Vasandani.

Donated were 10 wheel chairs, 10 compressor nebulizers, 10 blood pressure apparatus and 10 stethoscope, and a thousand eyeglasses to be distributed to various community and district hospitals managed by the provincial government.

Malaking bagay itong mga ibinigay ninyo, most especially para sa mahihirap nating kababayan,” Governor Espino told the MTCBC members.

“God has given us the golden opportunity to bless those less fortunate brothers and sisters. With our help, they will get back to their original form, regain trust and confidence. Bless and be blessed.” Vasandani said in response as he thanked Gov. Espino for giving his group a chance to help Pangasinenses.

Vasandani, a known philanthropist, said his group “will continue supporting the provincial government. Actually napakalawak ng probinsya ng Pangasinan kaya kung magbibigay ka sa Dagupan City (where the group mostly extends help), dapat pati ang 44 towns and three cities mabiyayaan din,” he added.
