CONFIDENT of Dagupan growth, AXA Philippines, one of the biggest insurance companies in the country, has re-launched its branch operations in the city.

AXA, a global firm with branches in 57 countries and over 102 million customers, expanded its branch in Dagupan noting its potential as the biggest trade and commercial center in Pangasinan and Northern Luzon.

Company records show the Northern Luzon area contributed around 10% of AXA’s total income in 2013 and Dagupan, located in the central part of Pangasinan, accounted for 10% of the business in North Luzon, valued at around P25.4 million.

AXA registered a 25% growth in Dagupan in 2013, attributing this to improved family income among residents.

As of the first quarter of 2014, agency sales in North Luzon already hit P59 million.

Aside from the relaunch of its branch office, AXA Philippines also conducted financial literacy seminars in Dagupan.

Located on Perez Boulevard, the AXA branch office was inaugurated on May 21 with Mayor Belen Fernandez as guest of honor.  (LVM)
