OVERALL CHAMPION
OVERALL CHAMPION––Mayor Belen Fernandez joins members of the Dagupan City Karate Team last April 21 as they demonstrate their fighting form after emerging as overall champion in the 3rd Okazaki Karate Cup held at the Philippine Sports Arena in Pasig City last March 29. Three Dagupeño athletes also won bronze medals in the 3rd Southeast Asian Karatedo Championships last April 13-18 in Vietnam. The winners are: John Matthew Manantan, John Enrico Vasquez, Visnujana Mesina, Narayana Rsi Das Mesina, Arianne Yu Brito, Kristina Charrise Santiago, Jude Michael Uson, Francis Augustine Zabala, John Jerick Obra, Mark Andrew Manantan, Alexis Louise Nunez, Joana Lyka Michelle Uson, Gilbert Jorel Arellano, Clint Allij Veloso, Keiffer Espino, Vea Ronaz Alcalar, John Marc Claveria, Kristelle Ira Zabala, Angelo Yu Brito, Rheila Francesca Duya and Abigail Yu Brito.
