FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE

RESIDENTS, young and old, flocked to the Labrador Municipal Plaza on March 29 for the first ever Unity Walk 2014 (Isang Hakbang tungo sa Pagbabago) to express their support to the call for good governance.

Organized by the Mga Mata ng Labrador headed by Michael Regoris, in partnership with the local government, the event appealed for press freedom, academic freedom, responsible journalism and right to education.

Vice Mayor Ernesto I. Acain delivered a message highlighting the current political scene in the country and rallied the crowd to maintain unity and vigilance against anomalies in government.

The Labrador police also participated and sponsored a free Zumba session to the delight of the participants.
